School Garden
New Generation

Northeastern Madagascar

What we are

The school garden was founded in 2020 by Evrard Benasoavina, a local tourist guide with a vision to share knowledge about the Malagasy biodiversity. The garden offers the unique opportunity for Malagasy people to learn about the functioning of ecosystems and the importance of biodiversity for their livelihoods.
At the school garden, visitors (kids, parents, farmers etc.) learn about sustainable agriculture, how to cook nutritious meals, waste management and the Malagasy flora and fauna.

With this project we want to create a space for Malagasy children
to experience nature and learn about its importance.

Our Offer

Guided garden visits for schools and private persons, training and event host, stay overnight for tourists who want to know more about malagasy life

About us

Our school garden is located in the Sava region in Madagascar. With a passionate team we are constantly improving the garden and it’s facilities.

Support our work

Our offers for local schools are free. We need support for this. We’re glad to receive your contribution which could be a donation, visits, stay as a volunteer or others.
